Portraits

All portrait sessions draw on various props and use individualized poses intended to specifically capture the personality of each subject (after all, even a sleeping baby can make a beautiful picture). Most portrait sessions are between thirty minutes and an hour in length. This allows the subjects to become comfortable in the studio environment, which is especially important for children and pets. The time being spent helps to alleviate the feeling of being rushed through the process. After the subjects are comfortable we are able to truly create magic. (Note: More time may be needed for multiple subjects or for select circumstances, so be sure to inform the photographer when scheduling the appointment.)

Wedding Photography

Let us begin by taking engagement photos in studio or on location…where you first met, where the love began, the beach, downtown, under your favorite shady tree… Many weddings can be a blur for the happy couple, who are swept up in the day’s events. Allow us to take the pressure of capturing these lasting memories of your “special day” off of your shoulders. On your wedding day, we can begin by following the bride through her early preparations in her moments of anticipation. We then set up at the ceremony to catch the special moments such as the groom’s first glimpse of his beautiful bride in her dress, the couple as they profess their vows, and the first kiss. We then move on to the reception, first dance, and can take table pictures and family portraits if desired. We will weave the elements of your day together into a memory album that reflects the emotions and passion of your wedding through creative digital manipulation. A wedding from “A Bird’s Eye View” would not be complete without a “Creative Album”, which is ideal for capturing the essence of the union between two souls. Creative Album: Consists of 15 – 20 images selected by the photographer that are each individually manipulated and put together with a unique touch. Ask to see the “Creative Album” portfolio!
